Vietnam is one of the most fascinating and beautiful countries in Asia: a rare blend of breathtaking nature, ancient culture, rich cuisine, and famously warm people. We travel the country together from north to south: vibrant Hanoi, the mountains and rice terraces of Sapa, the magical river landscapes of Ninh Binh, an unforgettable night afloat in Halong Bay, the picturesque old town of Hoi An and the famous Golden Bridge, colorful Saigon, and the lush green Mekong Delta. Along the way there are hand-picked hotels, wonderful local food, time for markets and cafes, and moments of pampering and calm so you can savor every bit of it.

Itinerary
Day 1-2
Hanoi
A rickshaw ride through the old quarter, the French quarter, the Women's Museum, the Temple of Literature, and coffee on Hanoi's famous Train Street.
Day 3-5
Sapa & the northern mountains
Rice terraces and hill-tribe villages, the cable car to Fansipan's summit, and the sweeping views of Silver Waterfall and Heaven's Gate.
Day 6
Ninh Binh
A gentle sampan boat ride between limestone cliffs and rice fields, the ancient Bich Dong pagodas, and a relaxing evening at a countryside resort.
Day 7-8
Halong Bay
A luxury overnight cruise on the bay: kayaking through caves, sunrise tai chi on deck, and a fruit-carving class with the chef. Then a short flight south to Hoi An for a lantern boat ride.
Day 9
Hoi An
A market bike ride, round basket boats in the coconut village, a 300-year-old herb garden, a cooking workshop, and a street food tour through the glowing old town.
Day 10
Ba Na Hills
A cable car up to the mountain gardens and pagodas, a walk across the Golden Bridge, and a little surprise on the way home.
Day 11-12
Saigon
The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the war museum, then the city after dark by jeep. The Cu Chi Tunnels, Ben Thanh Market, the A O Show, and a festive farewell dinner.
Day 13
The Mekong Delta & farewell
A boat ride among floating fishing villages, tropical fruit and honey tea at a local orchard, coconut candy making, rowboats through palm-lined canals, and the journey home.
